What is PHOTOCRAVE?

PHOTOCRAVE.net is simply a blog for those that crave photography. Who doesn’t like a list of awesome photo’s? Our team scours the web to find great images, build a list, and publish it on this site.

How does it Work?

We search Flickr for a particular subject, photographer, or theme and create a single post. We also use photos included in our group as well as images submitted by photographers interested in a little free exposure. Read on to get your image included (or removed).

Flickr’s Share Feature

We use Flickr’s “share” feature to create our posts. This is a user preference where the owner of a photo has allowed the HTML code from their images to be copied and shared. We find tons of incredible photographs on flickr, however we are sure to only include those that are willing to share their great work with others.

We are here to share great images we find online, not steal or infringe on copyrights of photographers. If your image was included in our post and you would like it to be removed, we will be happy to honor your request. Simple contact us and tell us what image and post. If you do not want your images to be shared by us (or anyone else) please be sure to edit your preferences on your Flickr account. See the graphic below.

How do I get my photo’s included in a new list on PHOTOCRAVE?

Join our group on Flickr and submit your best photographs in the pool. Be sure to tag your images with any and everything to help us find it when we start creating a new list. Examples: landscape, HDR, portrait, cars, etc. Also, get creative. Try using descriptive tags such as: red, fast, blur, etc. Camera phone pics need not apply. You don’t need to be a pro, but your photograph must be awesome. *Be sure to allow others the right to share your photos (see graphic above)

I have been a fan of photography ever since I could read. I am a visual guy – I love looking at pictures. I’m not a man of many words, I’d prefer to express myself through imagery. I started this site as a way to – 1. share the great works of other photographers and 2. to help those (like myself) whom have a craving to become a better photo-taker.

I am a creative professional by trade. I create websites and marketing campaigns for companies that want to get more out of their marketing dollars. I am active on social media and would love to connect. Please take a moment to find me on twitter and facebook.
